This policy explains how the restaurant storefront you are using and Tastio LLC, the restaurant's technology service provider, handle information when you use the restaurant's website or mobile application (the “Service”).

Delete your account and associated data

Taqueria Chavez and El Camino Real app users can request account deletion by emailing admin@tastio.com from the email address associated with the account. Use the subject ?Account deletion request? and include the restaurant app name and account phone number so we can verify the request. We may contact you to confirm ownership before deletion.

After verification, we delete the account profile, saved addresses, notification tokens, and other data that is not required to be retained. Transaction, order, fraud-prevention, security, tax, and legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law or legitimate business obligations, after which they are deleted or de-identified. You may use the same email process to request deletion of specific optional profile data without closing the entire account.

Information we collect

• Account and contact information: name, email address, phone number, login credentials, and communication preferences.
• Orders and transactions: cart contents, order history, fulfillment selections, rewards activity, and related customer-service records.
• Delivery and location information: saved delivery addresses and, only when you grant permission, device location used to help select or confirm an address.
• Payment information: payment tokens, payment status, and limited transaction details. Payment card and bank-account details are handled by payment providers such as Stripe, Google Pay, or Aeropay and are not stored as full account numbers by the Service.
• Verification documents: where legally required for an enabled business feature, date of birth, identification details, and images of identification documents that you choose to upload.
• Device and technical information: device type, push-notification token, app interactions, IP address, browser or operating-system information, diagnostic data, and security logs.
• User content: reviews, support messages, and other information you choose to submit.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the Service; create and manage accounts; process orders, payments, delivery, rewards, and notifications; provide support; comply with legal obligations; prevent fraud; and improve performance and reliability.

How information is shared

Information may be shared with the restaurant fulfilling your order, Tastio LLC, and service providers that perform functions such as payment processing, mapping, cloud hosting, communications, analytics, fraud prevention, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Service, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices and rights

You can decline optional location and notification permissions in your device settings. You may update profile information in the Service. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, use the account controls available in the Service or contact us at admin@tastio.com. We may retain information when required for transactions, security, tax, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Data retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and applicable legal requirements. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through the Service.

United States processing and policy changes

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
